The facial was not terrible, but it included limited extractions and was not even close to as long as the advertised length. The service menu listed the facial I got as a 90 minute experience, however, I was in and out in less than one hour.
The Red Door Spa at the Garden City Hotel is amazing. The space is beautiful with a relaxing vibe. I utilize the hair salon and am always thrilled with cut and color or a quick blow out! The spa is great for a relaxing massage or facial and the service is fantastic. Easy to book appointments, never have to wait and very hospitable staff and a lots of great products in their retail space. Highly recommend The Red Door Spa at the Garden City Hotel plus valet parking is included (can't beat that for service) and great lounge (Polo Lounge) for drinks and apps after a few hours of pampering or you can order from the hotel's room service and have it delivered right to the spa! Love this place! :)
The locker room is very small and cramped. The lounge area is unisex and there was staff talking, laughing and running back and forth by the large open entry the entire time.
I had an amazing massage by Sandra. I scheduled an appointment for a deep tissue massage and she did an excellent job of loosening all my tight muscles. I left as a very satisfied customer!
I don't know if I've been spoiled from past experiences at luxurious hotel spas, but this was really no frills, no sauna, steam room or other amenities to enjoy. I expected much more, I will not be returning.
I cannot sing the praises of Stacy in the Bellmore Red Door enough. Professional, knowledgeable and above all else - very kind. She is why I am a client of Red Door.
I definitely did not have an experience that would reflect the price of this spa.
